Big Griz

Basic Overview

Big Griz is a short, squat Trandoshan. He wears a black glove on his left hand. He has a series of ingrown and misaligned scales around his neck and arms which suggest that he had taken enough blaster wounds to disrupt the natural healing processes of his body. They itch a lot.

He wears a hands-free datapad wrapped around the rear portion of his head.

Background

Big Griz was originally born on a military transport ship when his mother gave birth prematurely. His father was a soldier of high regard in the Trandoshan fleet. Griz was the runt of the family and spent much of his young life a joke for his older siblings. Though his father saw a spark in his tiny son and pushed him to join the military. When he was old enough he joined the Trandoshan fleet, a decision that changed his life. Gone was the weak, feeble Griz and here to stay was "Big Griz". He was now very muscular and on his short stocky frame, he looked almost cartoonish.

The nickname was bestowed upon him on one encounter with a group of Wookies. His team was infiltrating a group of them for their pelts when another group got the drop on them. Outnumbered they planned a retreat but Griz refused and took on the Wookies alone. His fearless attitude inspired the retreating group to advance and defeat the opposing Wookies. Many jagganath points were earned that day and "Big Griz" was born. Though he was badly wounded for his actions, and never fully recovered, he felt that his fellow brothers were to weak to cover Big Griz's back. So, Big Griz left the military and his planet and wondered the stars, doing miscellaneous bodyguard work.

When he heard about the forming Alliance, he was working for a small protection squad. He joined up for "action, cause Big Griz loves action". And the rest, is history.

Personality

Big Griz is very proud of himself and his military acomplishments. He speaks in third person to emphasis that he's bigger than life and that even he has to respect the name "Big Griz" when referring to himself.

Like any Trandoshan he hates Wookies and has a history of fighting with others within his own ranks.

Slasher Squad

Slasher Squad is the Bravado's elite military force. Big Griz turned it into one of the best units in the Alliance.
