Brief Overview

Lieutenant Ranharr is a starfighter pilot in Corsair Squadron, a member of "Mynock Flight" under the direct command of Commander Vor'lx Taruk. He flies as Corsair 8, paired alongside Kal Domo and Seriph Ocelli.

He's an ex-slave from the planet Kashyyyk. At only 114 years old, he's relatively young for a Wookiee. He's easy-going and relaxed amongst most people, but is very proud of his Wookiee heritage and quick to defend his people's honor.

Ranharr does not wear pants. This means his balls are constantly showing.

Early Years

After the Clone Wars, Ranharr and his family were among the Wookiees enslaved by the Empire and forced to work on the Death Star. During this time, Ranharr was taught how to pilot various airspeeders to serve as a courier between different work groups. During this time, he became active in a Wookiee revolutionary group, known as the Wroshyr Revolutionary Guard.

The WRG espoused a number of new ideas. Foremost among them were the ideas that the Wookiees must reclaim their culture, many elements of which were forbidden by the Imperials. As such, members of the group sought to return to the "Great Forest," their homeplanet of Kashyyyk, which took on the air of a utopian paradise. The concept of death became less ominous, reinterpreted as merely part of the natural cycle of life. As such, members of the group were not afraid to give their lives to free themselves and their fellow Wookiees. The group met in secret, crafting songs that they used to pass secret messages to each other. The ritualistic use of low-grade spice also became part of their meetings.

Joining the Rebellion

The revolutionary group orchestrated a rebellion amongst the slaves that managed to allow a large number of them to escape slavery. Ranharr piloted the ship that carried them away to safety. Once leaving Imperial space, they made their way to an Alliance base, where a large percentage of the group joined the Alliance.

As a member of the WRG, Ranharr is dedicated to defeating the Empire in order to bring about an age of peace, prosperity, and happiness to the Wookiee people.
